Tony Denny’s luxury Elysium penthouse will soon to go to auction.

Tony Denny’s most luxurious listing to date will soon go under the hammer with the auction of his Elysium penthouse in Terrigal.

Originally two penthouses, the properties were merged into one larger apartment that includes five bedrooms, a six-car garage and private lift lobby.

BRW Rich Lister and Central Real property developer Denny said that the penthouse is a “once in a lifetime” opportunity.

The Elysium complex boasts panoramic water views to the Terrigal haven and right around to Wamberal beach and the lagoon.

The Gohera limestone tiled kitchen includes Miele appliances and a butler’s pantry.

The main bedroom includes floor-to-ceiling glass.

“It’s what you’d expect to see at Bondi or the Northern Beaches in a luxury penthouse but at a fraction of the cost of what you’d pay in Sydney,” he said.

“You just won’t find an apartment of this size or location with a six-car enclosed garage and panoramic water views to the Terrigal haven and right around to Wamberal beach and the lagoon.

“We’ve saved the best for last … it is nothing short of spectacular.”

The architecturally designed north-facing penthouse includes a massive six-car garage, staged for the ad listing with a collection of Mr Denny’s own personal collection of sports cars.

Features include a huge wraparound balcony, Gohera limestone tiled kitchen with Miele appliances and butlers pantry, solid French oak timber floors, a black slate stone feature wall, Ortal gas fireplace and underfloor heating in bathrooms.

All bedrooms have their own ensuite and the main has access to its own private balcony with uninterrupted views that can be enjoyed with a glass of champagne from the freestanding bath tub.

Nestled among landscaped tropical grounds, the penthouse has access to a 25m resort style pool and lush green open spaces.

The Elysium complex comes with a strict Airbnb ban, an ingredient that has proved popular with local downsizers keen to enjoy their own private sanctuary.

Apartments were snapped up like hot cakes in 2017, selling in under two weeks to majority local buyers.

The penthouse is the final release for the development and it will be auctioned off by McGrath’s Mat Steinwede, who is working in conjunction with Central Real to sell the one-of-a-kind apartment.

With an auction bidding guide of $4.5 million-$4.9 million, it is set to smash the current apartment sales record in Terrigal, which according to CoreLogic is around $3.5 million.
